Chef BBQ Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 2 racks of pork ribs
  • Chef Sweet and Sticky BBQ sauce
  • 2 handfuls of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of paprika
  • 1 tablespoon of chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • Rapeseed oil
  • Sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your grill to 160°C
  2. Mix the brown sugar, paprika, chilli powder, garlic powder and sea salt to create a dry rub.
  3. Generously season both sides of the ribs with the dry rub, gently patting it onto the meat to ensure it sticks. Rub them with some of the oil also.
  4. Place the ribs into the grill or in the oven, bone-side down. Cook for about 2-3 hours, or until the meat is tender and begins to pull away from the bones.
  5. Brush the ribs with the Chef BBQ sauce and cook for another 15-20 minutes, allowing the sauce to caramelize and create a sticky glaze.
  6. Remove the ribs from the heat and rest for a few minutes. This step allows the juices to redistribute and makes the ribs even more tender.
  7. Cut the racks into individual ribs and serve hot. Add more BBQ sauce if desired.
